Refund & Fair Use Policy
Last updated: November 2025
This Refund & Fair Use Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases and subscriptions made through CanPR ("we", "our", "the Service"). By purchasing any product or subscription, you agree to this Policy.
1. Digital Goods – General Refund Policy
All CanPR products (reports, letters, analysis, document packages, subscriptions, and AI-generated materials) are digital goods and are delivered electronically.
Because digital goods cannot be "returned," all completed and delivered digital products are non-refundable, except in rare circumstances described below.
2. One-Time Purchases
One-time paid products are non-refundable after delivery, including but not limited to:
- Instant PR Report
- Full Document Package
- Refusal Rescue Package
- Personalized letters, LOEs, purpose letters
- Any digitally delivered PDF, Word file, or AI-generated content
A product is considered delivered when:
- The document has been generated by our system,
- You have access to download it, or
- It has been emailed to you.
Exception – Technical Issues Only
Refunds may be considered only if:
- The system delivered a corrupted document,
- A technical error prevented successful delivery despite payment,
- A major system malfunction occurred during document generation.
Refund requests for one-time products must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.
3. Subscription Refund Policy
3.1 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not retroactively refund the current billing period. You retain access until the billing period ends.
3.2 Subscription Refund Eligibility
You may qualify for a refund only if all of the following are true:
- Your refund request is submitted within 30 days of the original subscription purchase, and
- You have not used your included Premium Document Credit, and
- You have not downloaded or generated Premium documents (such as Refusal Rescue, Full Document Package, or similar high-value content) during the billing period.
Once any Premium document is generated within a billing period, that period is considered non-refundable. This includes Refusal Rescue, Full Document Package, or any AI-generated Premium deliverable.
4. Chargebacks & Unauthorized Disputes
Attempting to dispute a legitimate charge (chargeback) after receiving digital goods is considered misuse of the Service.
We reserve the right to:
- Dispute chargebacks with Stripe and your payment provider,
- Provide download logs, IP records, and delivery logs as evidence,
- Suspend or terminate accounts for fraudulent or abusive chargebacks.
5. Fair Use Policy
To protect service quality and availability for all users:
- Automated document generation is monitored for abuse.
- Excessive or abnormal usage patterns may result in temporary limits or account review.
- Subscription plans typically include one Premium document per billing cycle.
- Additional Premium documents may require separate payment or an upgrade.
6. No Legal Advice
CanPR does not provide legal advice. Refunds will not be issued based on:
- Disagreement with immigration outcomes,
- IRCC decisions or processing delays,
- Misunderstandings of immigration rules or processes,
- Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the user.
